-  Governor Pat Quinn met with Orinoco Systems’ CEO Diego Ferrer and other Illinois business leaders at a roundtable sponsored by TechAmerica.

“It is important for our state that we sit down with our business leaders, and that we engage them in the process as we work to bring further economic growth to Illinois,” said Governor Quinn. “I appreciate these leaders taking the time share their experiences and their input, and I will continue working with the private sector to strengthen our economic recovery. By working together, we can help our state to build an even better environment for businesses.”

Orinoco CEO Diego Ferrer offered his take on the TechAmerica Roundtable, “It was a great opportunity to be able to discuss the issues affecting the technology sector in Illinois, as well as having the opportunity to discuss potential solutions with the other business executives, as well as Governor Quinn.It is my hope that the governor takes to heart the importance of the technology industry in relation to the future of the state. “
