Chicago, Illinois, May 17, 2011 - Orinoco Systems' Chairman, Diego Ferrer and other Hispanic business leaders met with the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis.
The open line of communication, arranged by the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, allowed Secretary Solis to share her position about current policy initiatives, including federal employment training programs, as well as the resources and support that the Department of Labor has made available to business owners.
Mr. Ferrer stated that, "It was great to have the chance to interact with the Labor Secretary. I truly think that the programs offered by her department are valuable, and she was very optimistic about their ability to help create jobs."
