Hector Correa – Managing Director

Hector Correa has more than 14 years of experience implementing technology solutions for Fortune 100 companies in the United States and Mexico acting as software architect and technical director on mission critical IT projects. As a founding partner of Orinoco Systems de Mexico he manages the IT operations of Orinoco’s near shore development center. 

Before Orinoco Systems, Hector Correa worked for Getronics as leader of IBM technology implementations. Mr. Correa also worked for FEMSA, the largest beverage company in Latin America where he was responsible for the Enterprise Application Integration group. As an IT consultant in the United States, Mr. Correa has worked with companies such as Kraft, Wal-Mart, Goodyear and SaraLee and in industries as diverse as utility providers, banking, marketing , retail, beverage, and construction.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey (ITESM) and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the State University of New York where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
